Here's why Karan Patel has left 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'
Karan Patel, who became a household name after playing Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is no longer a part of the show. The actor recently announced his exit from YHM after being associated with it for six years. Now, in a recent interaction, Karan revealed why he took this decision. "All good things come to an end and so does Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show will always remain close to my heart and I am thankful to Ekta Kapoor for giving me Raman Bhalla," Karan told Times Of India.
There has been a lot of buzz about Karan's exit. Some claimed he was miffed with the makers regarding the ongoing storyline of YHM. But his publicist revealed Karan left the show to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi. "We tried to work our dates out to accommodate many commitments but because that did not seem possible we have chosen to end a very memorable journey," the publicist said.
"We're ever so grateful to Ekta and the entire team who have always shown Karan so much love and support, allowing him to grow beyond the show to take on new work commitments." "We would like to duly mention that had it not been for YHM a lot that has come our way including Khatron Ke Khiladi would not have happened," Karan's publicist emphasized.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Chaitanya Choudhry would be replacing Karan in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. According to a report published in SpotboyE, he will begin shooting next week. However, an official announcement is still awaited. "I am in talks with them but they haven't given me any confirmation yet, so I am not in a position to tell you anything," clarified Chaitanya.
