Hulu scraps Kim Kardashian, La La Anthony's 'Group Chat' pilot

Streaming platform Hulu has decided not to move forward with the comedy pilot Group Chat, reported Variety. The show was based on La La Anthony's book The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness and was developed by writer Kenya Barris and executive producer Kim Kardashian. Despite this setback, Anthony and Kardashian will continue their partnership as executive producers on an upcoming Tracy Oliver comedy series at Hulu.

The project was first announced in 2024 under Kardashian's first-look deal with 20th Television. Anthony not only starred in the pilot but also executive-produced it, while Kardashian was set to guest star and narrate the series.
