Lakshmi Menon gets relief in Kerala kidnapping case

The Kerala High Court has quashed the FIR and all further proceedings against actor Lakshmi Menon in a kidnapping case filed by IT professional Aliyarsha Salim.
Salim had claimed that Menon and three others stopped his car near a Kochi pub on August 24, 2025, threatened and assaulted him, then left him at Aluva-Paravur junction after a dispute.

Both sides settled things peacefully

Police booked Menon under several serious sections, including kidnapping and criminal intimidation. But after Salim told the court it was all a misunderstanding, Menon got anticipatory bail.
On November 7, both sides settled things peacefully—so the judge quashed the FIR and all further proceedings.
The court did mention injuries to others but didn't go into details.
