Manoj Pahwa initially refused Aryan Khan's 'The Bads of Bollywood'
Entertainment
Manoj Pahwa, who stars in Aryan Khan's Netflix series The Bads of Bollywood, shared that he first said no to the role because the makers weren't giving the show's script to anybody.
"I had refused him at first," he told Mashable India.
This is why he eventually took up the role
A week later, Pahwa got four scripts and agreed to play Avtar Singh, though he wasn't sure about some of the strong language.
Aryan reassured him—"Sir, aapke mooh se gaali achhi lagti hai"—and even Shah Rukh Khan gave his approval for the script.
Pahwa had previously worked with Shah Rukh
Pahwa had worked with Shah Rukh before but didn't know him well, which added to his hesitation.
The show is available for streaming on Netflix and got a lot of love for its direction and performances.
