Franchise's success prompted the two back to back movies

As we mentioned, the two upcoming Mission Impossible films will be shot back to back. The studio decided to extend full support to the franchise following its commercial box office success, earning $790 million or Rs. 5,611 crore worldwide. The earnings proved that the franchise had the potential to be a crowd-puller, convincing Paramount Pictures to greenlight these two new franchise films.
