'One Battle After Another' leads London Critics's Circle nominations

Paul Thomas Anderson's new film One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and loosely based on Thomas Pynchon's novel Vineland, is leading this year's London Critics's Circle Film Awards with nine nominations—including film, director, and screenwriter of the year.
DiCaprio is up for actor of the year, while Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn are both nominated for supporting roles.
Winners will be announced on February 1, 2025.
Who else is in the running?
Chloe Zhao's Hamnet isn't far behind with eight nominations (including a nod for Jessie Buckley as actress of the year), and Ryan Coogler's Sinners scored seven—plus director and screenwriter noms for Coogler himself.
Over 200 critics from different outlets decide who takes home the prizes.
