Parmeet's son almost starred in Broadway's 'DDLJ' musical

Parmeet Sethi shared that his son, Ayushmaan, came close to landing the role of Kuljeet in the Broadway musical adaptation of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Come Fall in Love).
The reveal happened during a YouTube Live celebrating their family channel hitting one million subscribers.
Although Ayushmaan was shortlisted, the team wanted someone with a stronger background in Western classical singing, so he missed out this time.

Ayushmaan trained at Lee Strasberg Theatre

Ayushmaan is following his parents into acting and trained at New York's Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
His mom, Archana Puran Singh, playfully called an actor's journey a "struggle."
Fun fact: Parmeet himself was not immediately cast for the original Kuljeet role back in 1995 before making it iconic.
