Priyanka Chopra to speak in Telugu at 'Globetrotter' event

Priyanka Chopra Jonas said she is working on learning Telugu and will try to speak in Telugu at the Globetrotter launch on November 15 in Hyderabad.
She told fans, "I'm still working on learning Telugu. So please forgive my mistakes. But I'll try."
Over 50,000 people are expected at the event.

Globetrotter is directed by S.S. Rajamouli and stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Chopra, who returns to Indian cinema after a break. She plays Mandakini; Sukumaran plays Kumbh.
The teaser drops on India's largest screen (130 ft by 100 ft), with live streaming for fans everywhere.

Chopra's thoughts on learning Telugu

Chopra's been working to get her Telugu right for this role and thanked Rajamouli for his support: "It's obviously not my first language but @ssrajamouli sir has been so helpful."
She described it as hopefully a new era and her return to Indian films, saying, "Hopefully a new era and my return to Indian films... I know it will be incredible."
