Bollywood producer Karim Morani's daughter Shaza has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), reports said on Monday. She is currently admitted at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. Meanwhile, other members of the Morani family are currently in self-quarantine and will be tested for the virus on Monday. According to a report in The New Indian Express, Shaza had traveled back from Sri Lanka in the first week of March. For the unversed, Shaza's father Karim has produced several movies including Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express, Ra.One, Dilwale, and Happy New Year, among others. However, he has been away from films for some time, after being embroiled in a number of scams.

Shaza lives in Juhu with her parents and a sister, Zoa Morani, who is an actor. Notably, according to a report in India Today, Shaza's is the first confirmed coronavirus case in the posh area. The area is also home to other prominent Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Hrithik Roshan and Jeetendra, and several others.
