He disclosed that he has already written 18 drafts of a new film and plans to begin filming in December 2025.

Bose described his upcoming film as not just light-hearted, but "crazy." He further explained, "It's bizarre. But within that, there is a very deep underlying emotional reason for the bizarre behavior, which, of course, is pathos." "But you never see that. The filmmaker never ever shows that to you." This will be Bose's fourth directorial venture following Everybody Says I'm Fine! (2001) , The Whisperers (2009), and Poorna (2017).

Bose also emphasized the significance of OTT platforms for films like Berlin. He expressed his preference for theater viewing but acknowledged the benefits of platforms like ZEE5. "So, I think that it's very important for it to be on a platform where it can slowly catch fire."
