Kapoor prepares for role, film's format altered
Kapoor has joined the cast of Ramayana and is currently preparing for his role through rehearsals and costume trials. The film was initially planned as a trilogy but will now be divided into two parts. Approximately 12 extravagant sets were constructed for the film, which are now being dismantled following the completion of shooting for the first part. The production team is gearing up to commence filming for the second part soon.
Kapoor's training and projected shooting schedule
Kapoor recently revealed in a conversation with Nikhil Kamath that he has been training for three hours daily for an undisclosed film, which many speculate to be Ramayana. The production team has planned a 350-day shoot for both parts of the film. This includes scenes featuring the extended star cast as well as their solo sequences. The goal is to wrap up both films by December 2025.
