What's the story

In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Salman Khan reprimanded contestant Shehbaz Badesha for invoking late actor Sidharth Shukla's name to gain votes. Khan reminded Badesha that Shukla's legacy was built on merit, and using his name for votes was inappropriate. Badesha is the brother of Shehnaaz Gill, who was close friends with Shukla during their time on Bigg Boss 13. Shukla (40) passed away from a heart attack in 2021.

Host's statement

'Your game is not even 1% of his game'

Khan said, "I want to tell you that whatever Sidharth has done in the show, he has done it on his own. He has not taken anyone's name. And your game is not even 1% of his game." "Do you think that Sidharth Shukla's fans will support you, given that your game is not comparable to his?" To note, Badesha has had a tattoo of Shukla on his arm for years now.

Host's inquiry

Khan also questioned Badesha's claim of knowing him personally

Khan continued, "God bless his soul. Do you really think if Sidharth himself were here, he would have supported you, the way you are playing the game?" He also questioned Badesha's claim of knowing him personally, "You also said that you know me personally. I have heard you say that. When did this happen?"

Contestant's response

Badesha admitted his mistake

Badesha admitted his mistake, saying, "Sir, I made a mistake yesterday." Khan responded firmly yet patiently, "Yes, that's why I am telling you. If you are giving an impression, then I am nullifying that." He advised Badesha to use his humor correctly and not go below the belt. The show also features Abhishek Bajaj, Amaal Mallik, Mridul Tiwari, and Gaurav Khanna, among others.
