Almost a year after its theatrical release, Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is finally available for streaming on SonyLIV. The comedy-drama arrived on the streamer on Friday (April 3). Directed by R.S. Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh, it was earlier released on YouTube and Google Play Movies under a pay-per-view model.

Sitaare Zameen Par is an official adaptation of the 2018 Spanish-language film Campeones (Champions). The original movie, directed by Javier Fesser, told the story of a rude coach who finds himself in charge of a basketball team made up of intellectually disabled players. The Hindi version was produced by Khan and Kiran Rao, with music composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
