The sequel, directed by Anshul Sharma, will see R Madhavan play Singh's father. The film will revolve around a hilarious rivalry between Devgn (56) and Madhavan (55) over Singh's (34) character dating a man older than her father. A few days ago, it was reported that a promotional song for De De Pyaar De 2 was filmed at a restobar in Mumbai. The first part was directed by Akiv Ali.
