The film starred Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu. Following its success, a sequel is in the works and is now nearly complete, with a release date set for November 14.

Teaser to enhance buzz for the film
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of De De Pyaar De 2 are planning to release the film's teaser on October 12.
A source said, "The makers are excited about the film and the teaser will give a small hint about the film's theme, madness and its principal characters."

Madhavan joins cast in the sequel
The sequel, directed by Anshul Sharma, will see R Madhavan play Singh's father.
The film will revolve around a hilarious rivalry between Devgn (56) and Madhavan (55) over Singh's (34) character dating a man older than her father.
A few days ago, it was reported that a promotional song for De De Pyaar De 2 was filmed at a restobar in Mumbai.
The first part was directed by Akiv Ali.
