Vicky Kaushal reveals his 'soulmate' and it isn't Harleen Sethi
Vicky Kaushal is the man of the hour, courtesy the mammoth success of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The movie became the first flick of 2019 to enter the coveted Rs. 200 crore club. But apart from professional success, Vicky is in a happy space in his personal life too. In fact, in his recent interview, Vicky spoke about his 'soulmate'.
During his interview on Famously Filmfare, Vicky spoke about the go-to-person in his life. While many expected that person to be his girlfriend Harleen Sethi, he stated that it is his close friend Shilpa Shrivastav. "She was a co-assistant director with me on Gangs of Wasseypur. She's like my soulmate. She knows me in-and-out. She's my most brutal critic," he added.
Interestingly, reports that Vicky is dating television actress Harleen Sethi have been floating for a while now. Though the actor kept it a secret for long, he finally admitted of his relationship with Harleen. Vicky stated that it all began last year and they hit out instantly. "It just seemed right. We enjoy each other's company. We're our best critics," Vicky asserted.
Adding further, Vicky recalled how he met Harleen during a common friend's party last year and felt a strong connection instantly. "We happen to meet through common friends. It felt right from the very beginning. We never questioned it. The beginning isn't too far off. It only started last year. It was beautiful to get to know each other," Vicky was quoted saying.
Further, Vicky and Harleen's love affair grabbed eyeballs recently after the two made their relationship Insta-official with their 'high-on-josh' picture. They shared a picture from the Uri success party where the two were seen twinning in their black 'How's the josh' sweatshirts. Notably, 'How's the josh' is a popular catchphrase from Uri and Harleen captioned the image as "High Sir!".
After basking in the success of Uri, Vicky will next be seen in Karan Johar's upcoming horror drama, for which he has already started shooting. The yet-to-be-titled project will also star Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. Besides, he will also be seen in KJo's multi-starrer production Takht releasing next year, which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor among others.
