'Akhanda 2' postponed due to legal issues
The sudden postponement of Akhanda 2's release is believed to be attributed to an ongoing court case. Eros International Media Limited moved the Madras High Court seeking payment of pending arbitration dues owed by 14 Reels Entertainment Private Limited for the past 11 years, totaling βΉ28 crore plus interest. It is believed that the clearance for this issue was granted just a day before the film's original release date.
