Hollywood's award season is heating up with Leonardo DiCaprio's latest film, One Battle After Another, leading the pack with nine nominations for next year's Golden Globes. The movie, which tells the story of a former revolutionary's daughter's kidnapping, is nominated in the Best Picture (Drama) category. DiCaprio and his co-stars Sean Penn, Teyana Taylor, Benicio Del Toro, and Chase Infiniti are also up for acting awards.

In India, One Battle After Another is available to rent on various platforms. Both Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video are streaming the film for a rental fee of ₹499. On YouTube, one can rent it for ₹500 and buy it for ₹920.

Other major contenders and surprises in acting categories
The multi-language family drama Sentimental Value follows closely with eight nods. Other acting nominees include Dwayne Johnson, Timothee Chalamet, Cynthia Erivo, and Ariana Grande. However, Erivo and Grande's Wicked sequel was snubbed in the Best Film category despite its box office success. Irish stars Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley were recognized for their performances in Hamnet, an adaptation of Maggie O'Farrell's novel by the same name.

The Golden Globes also saw a strong showing for international films. Apart from Norway's Sentimental Value, Iranian director Jafar Panahi's It Was Just An Accident received four nominations. Other foreign language films like The Secret Agent and No Other Choice bagged three each. The Palme d'Or winner is up against One Battle After Another in the Best Film category, along with Sinners, Hamnet, and Frankenstein.

'The White Lotus' and 'Adolescence' dominate TV nominations
In the television category, The White Lotus led with six nominations including Best TV Drama. It was followed by British drama Adolescence with four nods for Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, Erin Doherty, and Ashley Walters. It's also up for the Best Limited Series award. The Pitt received two nominations and is up against The Diplomat, Pluribus, Severance, Slow Horses as well as The White Lotus for TV drama.
