Arfath Mohammad launches ReuniteIndia.com to trace missing in Nepal floods
After the Nepal floods hit Nepal, Arfath Mohammad from Bengaluru created ReuniteIndia.com, a site that brings together information from official sources and user reports to help families track missing loved ones.
As of September 8, 2026, the site lists a list of more than 665 individuals, which includes missing, rescued, and those who are safe; 477 have been found safe, while 188 are still unaccounted for.
Mohammad said the website is here to help people who are trying to find their loved ones or report someone they know is safe.
ReuniteIndia.com translates names and verifies entries
The platform makes things easier by translating names into English and verifying every entry.
Each case page has a QR code for the person's current status and locators for nearby hospitals or police stations based on where the person was last seen.
To make searching even smoother, an AI chatbot is being added so users can get answers to their questions.
