Assam CM orders police to track celebratory posts on blast

India

After the tragic November 10 blast near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station that took 13 lives, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has ordered police to track down people from Assam who posted celebratory or supportive messages online.
He said such posts imply support for terrorist activities and stressed the need for everyone to stand united against such acts.

Security is tight in Assam, with drones at Guwahati station

Assam isn't just watching online activity—security is tighter on the ground too, with drones at Guwahati Railway Station and stricter checks for travelers.
Meanwhile, over 500 officers in Delhi are digging through CCTV and phone data to find suspects.
Even a retired school principal was detained for questioning for trying to politicize the attack online.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has put top investigation agencies on the case, showing that authorities are taking both real-world and digital threats seriously.
