Bengaluru traffic changes on Nov 27 for women's golden jubilee

India

Heads up, Bengaluru!
On November 27, from 7am to 4pm several main roads will have traffic restrictions because of the Karnataka State Women and Children Development Department's golden jubilee at Palace Grounds.
If you're heading to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) or the Central Business District (CBD), your usual route might be affected.

Here's how to get around

To reach KIA, take Old High Grounds Junction, Old Udaya TV Junction, Cantonment Railway Station, Tannery Road, and Nagavara.
Coming back from KIA to CBD? Turn left at Hebbal and right at Nagavara Junction—then follow Bamboo Bazaar and Queen's Road.
For alternatives: use Hebbal Ring Road or Rajkumar Road if you're coming from Yeshwantpur or heading toward the CBD.
These routes are set up to help everyone avoid major jams during the celebrations.
