Chandigarh Police tighten security after Delhi blast

After a tragic explosion near Delhi's Red Fort Metro station that left eight dead and several injured, Chandigarh Police are tightening security across the city.
Acting on central intelligence advice, they're keeping a close watch on busy spots like railway stations, bus terminals, and popular markets to prevent any threats.

Police have increased patrols and checks at key locations like ISBT-17, ISBT-43, Sector 17 Plaza, and Elante Mall.
Officers—both in uniform and plainclothes—are monitoring for unattended bags or suspicious activity.
Inspector General Pushpendra Kumar assured everyone: "The situation is under control, and there's no need to panic."
