Another 12 killed in thunderstorms in UP
  • The death toll in the intense thunderstorms in North India continues to rise. At least 12 more people were killed when fresh storms lashed Braj region of UP yesterday.

Some died upon coming into contact with electricity, others when poles or trees fell on them, and one when his tractor toppled due to high-speed winds.

The IMD has faced flak for inaccurate predictions recently.
