Delhi-BJP leaders protest at Kejriwal's office against non-performance of AAP

BJP leaders and rebel AAP legislator Kapil Mishra today sat on a dharna at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's office against the "non-performance" of his government, mimicking a protest the AAP members are holding at the Lieutenant-Governor's office. Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, and MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the sit-in will continue till their demands are met by AAP government.

We will sit until CM assures water to people: Gupta

"Until the Chief Minister assures to provide water to the people, we will continue our sit-in," Gupta said. He also said BJP legislators had tried to raise the water shortage issue in the Assembly, but they were marshaled out. Gupta added that they have called on people to reach the chief minister's office to raise the problem of water supply.

CM does not come to office Gupta

"The Chief Minister does not come to his office, where would people go to raise their problems?" the Leader of Opposition, Gupta, questioned.

Deputy CM joins third day of hunger-strike at L-G's office

Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today joined Health Minister Satyendar Jain on the third day of his indefinite hunger strike at L-G Anil Baijal's office, where they have been camping for two nights. The AAP leaders, including Kejriwal, are demanding Baijal's directions to IAS officers to end their "strike". They also want him to approve the proposal for door-step delivery of rations.
