Delhi blast: Al-Falah University faculty behind deadly attack, say police

India

A suicide bombing near Delhi's Red Fort metro station on November 10 left at least 10 people dead and 24 injured.
Police say three Al-Falah University faculty members planned the attack, with assistant professor Dr. Umar Un Nabi detonating explosives in a white Hyundai i20.
His colleagues, Dr. Muzammil Shakeel and Dr. Shaheen Shahid, were arrested after police found nearly 3,000kg of explosives stored in rooms rented by Shakeel.

Investigation widens to university finances

The government is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack.
Days later, Al-Falah's founder Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui was arrested for money laundering after raids revealed fake accreditations and shell companies linked to the university.
Authorities are now looking into whether university funds may have helped finance the terror plot, expanding their probe across multiple states.
