Delhi blast: Police crack down on suspects behind deadly attack

India

After a tragic explosion near Delhi's Red Fort claimed 15 lives last month, Jammu and Kashmir's State Investigation Agency (SIA) is stepping up efforts to find those responsible.
Recently, SIA teams raided homes in Ganderbal and Srinagar's Batamaloo to disrupt the weapons supply chain linked to suicide bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi.

Who's involved and what's next?

The raids targeted Tufail Niyaz Bhat—accused of supplying a rifle hidden in a hospital locker—and Zameer Ahangar, who had a pistol tied to Maulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagey, suspected of radicalizing the group.
Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested more suspects, including two from Al Falah University accused of helping plan the attack.
Authorities say these actions are part of a bigger push to break up the terror network behind the blast.
