India rolls out free e-visas for Russian tourists

India just made it easier for Russian travelers—Prime Minister Modi announced a free e-visa for Russian tourists, processed within 30 days and with zero fees.
This move, revealed alongside President Putin in New Delhi, is all about making travel smoother and boosting the friendship between the two countries.

Modi and Putin also launched their "Vision 2030" plan to ramp up business, investment, and tech partnerships.
Modi sounded optimistic about new opportunities and pushing ahead with a free trade deal with the Eurasian Economic Union.
Putin thanked India for its warm welcome and said he values his close working relationship with Modi.
