Delhi drug bust: Pharma firms' role in smuggling

India

Delhi Police just uncovered a massive drug operation that used legit-looking pharma companies in South India and Gujarat to smuggle over 1,200kg of cocaine and 40kg of high-end Thai marijuana. The whole thing was worth a jaw-dropping ₹13,000 crore. Fourteen people are already behind bars, with more names under investigation.

Father-son duo linked to cartel

Police say Virender Basoya was the mastermind, while his son Rishab helped connect the cartel to local dealers. Big busts happened last October in Delhi and Gujarat, revealing drugs hidden inside pharma shipments. The hunt for more suspects is still on as cops dig deeper into this international network.
