Delhi private schools: Admission schedule for 2026-27 session

Heads up if you're looking at private school admissions in Delhi—applications for nursery, KG, and Class 1 open December 4 and close December 27 this year.
Schools have to share their admission criteria by November 28, and the first list of selected kids drops on January 23.
Parents get until February 3 to raise any questions about the points system.

What else to know

A second list comes out February 9, with everything wrapping up by March 19.
Kids need to be three, four, or five years old (by March 31) for nursery, KG, or Class 1—there's even a one-month age relaxation if needed.
Registration fees are capped at ₹25; no extra charges allowed!
A district team will keep an eye on things so the process stays fair and transparent for everyone.
