Delhi weather: Rain, dust storms to hit around March 15
Delhi and the NCR are in for a weather shakeup around March 15, with pre-monsoon dust storms, thunderstorms, and some much-needed rain on the way.
The weather office says skies will be partly clear and the high should hit around 33 Celsius, just a notch above Friday's already warm 32.6 Celsius.
Friday morning was unusually hot too, with the minimum temperature at 20.4 Celsius, the highest so far this year.
Daytime temperatures to drop to 32-35 Celsius
After days of sweaty heatwaves (think: Delhi hitting around 37 Celsius and Rajasthan crossing 40 Celsius), this rain could finally cool things down: expect daytime temperatures to drop to 32 to 35 Celsius and nights to feel more comfortable at 16 to 17 Celsius.
But heads-up: strong winds could cause power cuts or travel delays, so it's smart to stay alert if you're heading out.
On the bright side, air quality has improved lately (AQI was a moderate 186 on Friday), but pollution can spike during stormy weather—so keep an eye out if you're sensitive.
