Delhi's air gets a little better, but still not great
India
Delhi's air quality improved slightly on Wednesday, moving from "severe" to just "very poor" (AQI 349).
That's better than Tuesday's 412, but it's still far from healthy.
Meanwhile, Noida and Greater Noida are also struggling, with AQIs of 355 and 344.
Why does this matter?
Even with the small improvement, pollution remains a big problem—five spots in Delhi saw AQI levels above 450 (that's off-the-charts bad).
Plus, dense fog is expected until December 27, which could trap more smog near the ground.
With persistent fog and poor air quality forecast, don't expect much relief anytime soon.
