Delhi's air quality just hit a worrying 425, and the Centre is stepping in.
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav has told Delhi-NCR states and UTs to send detailed updates on what they're doing to fight pollution—especially stubble burning, road dust, and waste fires.
He emphasized the need for better planning at the district level and tighter checks on crop residue burning.

Schools up to Class 5 have switched to hybrid learning for now.
