Delhi's air quality hits 'poor' zone on Sunday
India
Delhi woke up to a sunny Sunday with comfy October temperatures—minimum 20.6°C and highs around 33°C, says the IMD.
But even with this pleasant weather, air quality took a hit, landing in the 'poor' zone at an AQI of 284, according to the CPCB.
Pollution levels remain high
Despite nice weather for being outside, pollution is still a big problem—12 out of 38 stations reported 'very poor' air.
Anand Vihar had it worst at 430 AQI.
High levels of PM2.5 and PM10 mean breathing isn't easy, especially for kids, older folks, or anyone with breathing issues.
So if you're heading out, masks and some caution are still a good idea.
