  • In a shocking piece of news, a family in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, resorted to killing their 24-year-old son for raping his mother, sister and brother's wife.

    The father of the deceased claimed that he sexually assaulted the women on several occasions in an inebriated state.

    The police have now arrested four members of the family in connection with the murder.

  • On November 11, the deceased returned home drunk and tried raping the wife of his younger brother, his father said in his confession.

    "He had done so several times in the past," the father went on to say, "So this time, we killed him and dumped his body near the Gopaldas hill."

    The victim was reportedly strangled to death.

  • Datia Sub Divisional Officer of Police, Geeta Bhardwaj, said, "The body was recovered on November 12."

    Bhardwaj added, "After his identification, it was found that he was an alcoholic and that his family members were fed up with him. When we questioned the family they admitted to killing their son as he used to rape his mother, sister and brother's wife after getting drunk."

  • Notably, details of the case came to the fore after the family was questioned about the body of their deceased son.

    After the family's confession, the father, his wife, his younger son and younger son's wife were arrested by the police for murder.

    On Monday, the four accused were presented in the court and sent to judicial custody.
