Fire breaks out in Bengaluru hospital's burns ward
Early Tuesday, a fire broke out in a seminar room next to the burns ward at Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru, because of a short circuit.

Hospital on war footing
Dr. Divya, on night duty, spotted the smoke and raised the alarm.
The hospital jumped into action with emergency codes; staff moved five ICU patients and seven kids (among others) to another block within 30 minutes.
Everyone got continuous oxygen during the move—no one needed extra support.
Firefighters start cooling down the area
Firefighters put out the blaze quickly and started cooling down the area.
Repairs and safety checks are happening now, and hospital officials say normal services will restart once everything's safe.
Patient care stayed on track throughout.
