Four family members lose lives in Howrah house fire

A late-night fire in Sauria village (Jhamtia Gram Panchayat area), Uluberia (Howrah district) took the lives of four family members—72-year-old Durjodhan Dolui, his son Dudhkumar, daughter-in-law Shibani, and teenage granddaughter Shampa.
The family was reportedly asleep when the blaze broke out in their home.

Locals raise alarm; investigation underway

Neighbors spotted flames and quickly called the police and fire services.
Firefighters managed to control the fire and sadly found all four victims inside.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and police are now investigating how the fire started.
