    Haryana board declares results of 12th standard: Details here

    What's the story

    On Friday, The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) declared results for the Class 12 examinations.

    A student of government senior secondary school, Gurmeet topped the Arts stream by securing 489 marks. The Commerce stream was topped by Monika Kumari of Kaithal with 484 marks.

    Hisar students Naveen and Heena topped Science stream with 491 marks. In total, 63.84% students passed.

    How can you check your results: A guide

    The students can visit the website bseh.org.in. On visiting the website, they need to select their state.

    They will be directed to http://haryana.indiaresults.com/.

    After filling required details, like roll number, stream, etc. a click on 'Go' will display results on screen.

    How did the students fare: Key facts

    Once again, girl students scored better than boys. The pass percentage of girl students was 72.38%, while for boys it was 57.10%. Further, students of rural schools performed better than those from urban schools. The pass percentage of former is 64.75%, while it is 62.04% for latter.

    As compared to last year, less unfair means were used

    Unlike last year, when 5,300 students were caught cheating during examinations, this year invigilators held 4,976 students for using unfair means during Class 10 and 12 examinations.

    A Class 12 student hid a Bluetooth device in his turban for cheating.

    Further, across 25 centres, examinations were re-conducted because of incessant cheating by students.
