IndiGo flight chaos: Government steps in for real-time fixes

IndiGo had a rough Thursday, canceling over 550 flights—out of their usual 2,300 daily flights—thanks to crew scheduling problems, new duty rules, and tricky weather.
The government wasn't happy and told IndiGo to get back on track fast and not raise ticket prices.

What's being done for flyers?

Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu called out IndiGo for not handling the changes well, saying they should've been better prepared.
Now, the DGCA is watching IndiGo's operations live to make sure passengers get updates about delays or cancelations and proper help at the airport.
Ground teams are also keeping an eye out so things run smoother for travelers.
