IndiGo officials accused of caste-based harassment

A 35-year-old IndiGo trainee pilot has accused three senior officials of caste-based harassment at the airline's Gurugram office.
He filed an FIR naming Tapas Dey, Manish Sahani, and Captain Rahul Patil after being allegedly targeted during a meeting on April 28.
The case, first registered in Bengaluru, is now with Gurugram police.

TL;DR

Pilot reports he was told to 'stitch slippers'

The pilot says he was humiliated with casteist remarks like "go stitch slippers" and told he wasn't even fit to be a watchman.
He also reports facing salary cuts, forced retraining, revoked travel privileges, and warning letters—with no action from management despite repeated complaints.
With little support from within the company, he turned to legal help under the SC/ST Act.
Police are now collecting evidence while IndiGo hasn't commented yet.
