Investigating the cause of Telangana pharma factory blast

A tragic explosion at Sigachi Pharma Industries in Sangareddy, Telangana, killed 42 people on Monday.
Early reports say a pressure buildup in a spray dryer sparked the blast, with fine chemical dust making things worse.
The factory—about 50km from Hyderabad—had 108 workers inside and was making Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) at the time.

Modi announced ₹2 lakh compensation for each victim's family

The state government has set up a special committee to find out exactly what went wrong. The explosion was so powerful that it shook areas up to five kilometers away and took 15 fire engines to control the flames.
Most of those who died were migrant workers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha. Because of severe burns, DNA tests are being used to identify victims.
Prime Minister Modi shared his condolences and announced ₹2 lakh compensation for each family affected by the tragedy.
There are also concerns about possible safety lapses at the factory that are now under review.
