Kakinada: 3 dead, 3 injured in horrific road accident

A serious accident on the Visakhapatnam-Rajamahendravaram Highway in Kakinada district turned tragic on Saturday when a car's tire burst near Somavaram village.
The car rammed over three two-wheelers and then hit an empty bus stop—leaving three people dead and three others hurt.

Police have started an investigation

The victims who lost their lives—Mortha Anada Kumar, Mortha Kondayya, and Kakada Raju—were all from the local area.
The three injured, Bathina Bhadram, Kondrapu Chaitanya, and Cheepurupalli Phanisri, are being treated at Government General Hospital in Kakinada city.
Police have started an investigation to piece together exactly how things unfolded.
