Karnataka: Youth who organized local Kambala races found dead

Abhishek Alva, 29, was found dead on the banks of the Shambhavi River in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.
His car had been left near the Mulki Bappanadu bridge on the evening of November 5.
After his family reported him missing, police and locals searched the area and discovered his body.
Authorities suspect suicide but are still investigating what led up to this tragedy.

Abhishek was active in community life

Abhishek managed his family's Charan Bar & Restaurant in Nelyadi.
The Alva family is well-known in the coastal region for organizing Kambala events, a traditional buffalo race deeply rooted in local culture.
He was well-liked among young people and known for being active in community life.
