MP anticipates delayed monsoon arrival next weekend
The southwest monsoon is now expected in Madhya Pradesh around June 21-22, about a week later than usual. It's set to arrive through Chhindwara, Balaghat, and Dindori districts after heavy rain in parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The delay happened because the Bay of Bengal branch of the monsoon has been weaker this year.
