Noida: 2 men found dead inside locked car
Two men—Sachin Sharma, a cab driver, and Laxmi Shankar—were found dead inside a locked car in Noida's Sector 62 on Monday.
Their bodies were discovered near a liquor store after Sharma's wife got worried when he stopped answering calls.
Men may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning
Both men had left home with ₹3,000 and were last seen at the liquor store where they died.
The car was still running but both petrol and CNG tanks were empty, and there were no signs of injury.
Police suspect they may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning after the fuel ran out and the ventilation failed while they rested inside the sealed car.
Post-mortem results are pending, with toxicology tests underway to confirm what happened.
