Noida: Headless, handless body of woman found in drain
A shocking discovery was made near Noida's Sector 108 on Thursday—a woman's headless and handless body, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found in a drain.
Police say she was murdered by beheading, with the post-mortem confirming excessive bleeding as the cause of death.
Investigators think the body was likely dismembered elsewhere before being dumped at the spot.
Police have set up 60 teams to crack the case
To crack the case and find out who she was, police have set up 60 teams across Gurugram, Delhi, Aligarh, Mathura, and other western districts of Uttar Pradesh.
They've checked over 100 CCTV clips from nearby areas and compared records of 50 missing women but haven't found a match yet.
Local drains were cleaned for more clues, and two suspicious vehicles are being tracked.
The lack of direct CCTV at the scene is making things tougher, but officials promise updates soon.
The only clue so far: she was wearing an anklet when found.
