Noida: Headless, handless body of woman found in drain
A shocking discovery in Noida: the headless and handless body of an unidentified woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found floating in a drain near Sector 108, close to upscale apartments and just 100 meters from a police outpost.
The post-mortem confirmed she died from beheading and heavy blood loss—circumstances strongly suggest homicide.
Police are now checking missing women's reports
Police think the murder happened somewhere else and that her body was dumped during hours when the area is usually quiet.
Sixty teams are now checking missing women's reports from across Delhi, Gurugram, Aligarh, Mathura, and western UP for any leads.
They've also recovered a blue blazer nearby for forensic testing and are reviewing CCTV footage and vehicle movement from the 24 to 48 hours prior to the body's discovery.
So far, no matches have turned up in local missing person cases, but teams are working around the clock to identify her and find whoever's responsible.
