NSG's 'Neverever' ceremony honors 26/11 martyrs, survivors
On November 26, the National Security Guard (NSG) brought people together at Mumbai's Gateway of India to remember the 17th anniversary of the 26/11 attacks.
The event honored those lost and affected by the tragedy, with students from 11 colleges and 26 schools across the city joining in to pay their respects.
A memorial that brings everyone together
The site featured photos and names of those who died, with visitors leaving flowers and lighting candles.
A special "living memorial" was made using wax from these candles for future remembrance.
The Gateway itself lit up in tricolor, with "Neverever" shining bright as a reminder of unity and resilience.
Young voices leading the pledge
More than 21,000 people, including students from Mumbai's schools and colleges, took part in the 'Neverever' pledge—promising to stand for peace and stay vigilant.
Messages were written for martyrs and survivors, while videos and tributes highlighted stories of courage that still inspire today.
