Pakistan: Missing Hindu girl, 15, found married to Muslim man

A 15-year-old deaf and mute Hindu girl from Korwah, Badin district, Pakistan, went missing for over a week and was found at the local press club on a Saturday.
She had a conversion certificate and was reportedly married to an older Muslim man.
Her family had already filed an abduction complaint when she disappeared.

Girl's father doubts marriage is valid

The girl's father doubts the marriage is valid, saying his daughter couldn't truly consent due to her disabilities.
He also pointed out that the alleged husband is a drug dealer with seven daughters.
Shiva Kachhi from Darawar Ittehad Pakistan criticized police for not acting on their complaint and has called for an independent investigation into possible forced conversion and marriage.
