PM Modi, CM Stalin announce relief for Sivaganga bus accident victims

A major road accident in Tamil Nadu's Sivaganga district left 11 people dead and around 50 injured after two state busses collided on Sunday.
In response, Prime Minister Modi announced ₹2 lakh compensation for each victim's family and ₹50,000 for the injured, and wished a speedy recovery to those hurt.

The crash happened near Nachiyarpuram in Thirupathur, reportedly due to overspeeding on a narrow road.
Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin also stepped in with ₹3 lakh for families of the deceased, ₹1 lakh for those seriously injured, and ₹50,000 for minor injuries—offering some support to those affected by this tragedy.
