PM Modi flags off 4 new Vande Bharat trains

India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi just flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi, adding fresh routes between Banaras-Khajuraho, Firozpur-Delhi, Lucknow-Saharanpur, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru.
With these launches, India now has over 160 of these high-speed trains connecting key cities and cultural hotspots.

Trains blend of culture, faith, development journey: PM

Modi highlighted how these new routes connect major religious places like Prayagraj and Ayodhya as examples of spiritual centers of the nation's heritage.
He called the trains a blend of "culture, faith, and development journey," pointing out they're made in India and help modernize heritage cities.
The event also saw Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw join in to mark the occasion.
