PM Modi to hoist flag at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir on November 25

India

Big day in Ayodhya: Prime Minister Modi is set to hoist a saffron flag atop the newly completed Ram Mandir on November 25, which lines up with Vivah Panchami—a festival commemorating the divine wedding of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, coinciding with the temple's completion.
This comes after Ram Lalla's first consecration back in January 2024, and now, with six new shrines added, the temple is officially finished.

How Ayodhya is gearing up

Ayodhya has been decked out with saffron flags and flowers for the celebration.
The ceremony runs from 11:58am to 1:00pm with rituals kicking off since November 23.
Security's tight—think drone surveillance and SPG protocols—as crowds are expected to be bigger than ever for this cultural milestone.
