Punjab Governor and wife hospitalized for high-altitude sickness
Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and his wife Anita Kataria had a health scare while staying at their summer home in Shimla—they started feeling uneasy and were rushed to the hospital. Doctors found they had high-altitude sickness, which can happen if you move quickly from low to high altitudes without getting used to the change.
TL;DR
All their test results came back normal
Kataria was discharged later that night, while his wife stayed under observation just to be safe and went home the next morning. Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla dropped by the hospital to check on them, and thankfully, all their test results came back normal. It's a good reminder that sudden changes in altitude and weather can catch anyone off guard—even top officials.
